Michael Stuck – Osteopath in Bath
I feel passionate and privileged to bring the gift of Osteopathy to people across all ages who are in need of help. My sessions will be focused on working towards a deeper understanding of the body. It will help people to realise what it means to inhabit their unique body with all its individual gifts fully. I will be taking people on a structural journey which is aimed at helping others realise their amazing resilience and ability to move through life’s pain. My hands will offer presence and understanding towards the different layers of pain. The osteopathic approach used for that holding will depend on the individual’s needs, resources and path.
With a background in carpentry, my eyes and hands are trained in finding and solving mechanical problems. This skill has helped me in becoming an osteopath. I realised that my hands are not only skilled in this way but also can look for a deeper cause for dys-function or dis-ease. Studying Fine Art gave me a more detailed understanding and refined perception of visual and haptic qualities of the surrounding world. Working in architecture helped me to see and experience how aesthetic qualities, linked with functionality, can enhance people’s lives.
I believe that Osteopathy can build bridges between a person’s inner world and their somatic expression. I love to bring my diverse knowledge and skills to this process.
